Replacing 30 watt speakers with 25 watt speakers? Does it matter?
I’m replacing the speakers in my guitar amplifier. It has fender “special design” speakers rated at 30 watts. I want to put in Jensen P10R’s which are rated at 25 watts. What are the consequences of doing such a thing? What will happen?
if you overpower the speakers, you will blow them. if the 30 watt speakers are being replaced because they are blown, then there is a good possibility that you will blow these also.
