Structural Pallet Rack
A structural pallet rack is constructed out of structural steel and offers significant advantages over other forms of rack. Structural steel is made with reinforced channel corners and features thicker steel columns. In the event of an accidental collision, it can withstand far greater force of impact than rolled steel. Structural pallet racks also feature a much sturdier construction. They are bolted together and welded with AWS-certified criteria.
Three of our most popular designs are the SelecDeck, the Drive-In/Drive-Through, and the Glide-In “Push Back” systems.
SelecDeck Case Flow Systems
Typical gravity case pallet racks often present a number of challenges to smooth process flow. Their tracks and wheels will fall out, and the operation suffers downtime as crews scramble to implement repairs. The SelecDeck Structural pallet rack eliminates such problems with a superior case flow design that features a number of advantages over standard models.
For one thing, the wheels are much larger, wider, and stronger than traditional equivalents. Wheels are staggered within the wheel bed to create smoother flow and less carton damage. The axles are also designed differently. Steel shelf beams provide support to the entire module, making it more rigid and stable. Because wheel beds are customizable, there is a great deal more flexibility when slotting products. SelecDeck has no slotting limitations, so it is never necessary to add more tracks if the unit is re-profiled.
Drive In / Drive Through Structural Pallet Rack.
This is the favored rack design for warehouses that have to make use of every square inch of horizontal floor space and vertical cube space. Made completely from structural steel and featuring the innovative “Space-Saver Arm” design it provides the best in adjustability, durability, and safety required by heavy-duty Drive-In applications.
Glide-In “Push-Back”
This structural pallet rack design combines the high density features of Drive-In rack with the selection power of deep rack. This is made possible through a special, patented system of enveloping wheeled carts that operate through gravity. When a pallet is removed from the front, the pallet behind it moves forward to take its place. Different cart designs can be special ordered based on height requirements and storage content.

Structural pallet racks can take a hit without costing the operation downtime
Even if an upright suffers an impact and is damaged in the process, it will still retain 90% of its load capacity. This allows an operation to continue its process flow while the upright is repaired onsite.
